Telecourse Viewing Options
There are three ways to view telecourses.
Television viewing: All telecourses are broadcast on Cox TV channel 125. You will need access to a television set, and Cox cable channel 125 at the broadcast times. This is the primary delivery means for telecourses content.
Online viewing: You may view the videos at the Annenberg/Corporation for Public Broadcasting website. You will need broadband access; it will not work with dial-up. You will have to register with them, but currently it is free to watch the videos there. OU does not own or control this website but is an alternative used by many students.
Center for Independent and Distance Learning viewing station: A viewing station is located in Cross Center Main Building at 1600 South Jenkins, rm. 120. The viewing station is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. You do not need an appointment to view videos, but the station is first come, first serve. A picture ID is required to check out videos for viewing. Be sure to show up early enough to have sufficient time to complete your viewing session by 5 p.m.
